MicroTrade hosted fourteen businesses in a trade delegation from the Republic of Ireland to Belfast on Wednesday of this week. The primary focus of the participating businesses was to identify new market opportunities and forge new business relationships across the island of Ireland. The businesses represented a range of industries from IT to engineering and included Netwatch, a finalist in the 2007 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Moneypoint, who with their range of cash management products and services support the counting of 50million every day....

Two local companies were among the winners in the All-Island Seedcorn Business Competition 2007, which offered a record prize fund of £187,000, at last Thursday nights finals in Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin.
