His previous appointments have included Chief Executive of Enterprise Equity, the venture capital fund manager, from 1996 to 2004. Bob currently acts as Non-Executive Director and Chairman on a number of boards.

Our Equity Advisor and seasoned venture capitalist, Bob McGowan-Smyth, offers one-to-one advice for early stage high growth ventures that intend to raise funds in the next 12 months. Companies seeking to use this service must have an executive summary or business plan available.
Bob also acts as a sounding board for your management team before you approach the investment community to seek capital.Bob is available to meet with individual companies to advise on your fundraising requirements and asses your ‘investor readiness. He can also present to groups of companies and entrepreneurs on these issues.
