FP7 Support Programme
Funding is still available for research and innovation projects through the FP7 programme and there will be €80bn allocated to its successor programme, Horizon 2020, starting in 2014.
Collaboration is key when accessing EU innovation funding opportunities and InterTradeIreland is therefore taking a greater role in the promotion of North/South collaboration in relation to FP7 European funding.
Our FP7 support programme aims to help companies and academics in Ireland and Northern Ireland access the expertise they need for their FP7 applications through cross-border collaboration and partnerships. This assistance includes:
- EU notice board which is designed to help you identify partners for your collaborative FP7 projects. Here you’ll find projects looking for a partner to play a specific role within their proposals.
- Focus on FP7 series, for these events, top researchers and SMEs of the island are brought together for a targeted briefing and networking opportunity to discuss specic areas of FP7 calls.
- Free FP7 information and advice service which provides general information on FP7 topics, such as what is a PIC code, how to register as an evaluator or what are the supports available on the island.
