BioMedIreland provides an all-island focal point for the sector, which facilitates greater North-South cooperation, improved networking, and the sharing of knowledge and models of best practice within the sector. This enables the industry North and South to deliver greater added-value and compete more effectively in the global marketplace. Activities The current strategic focus is in the following four key areas: The project is now nearing completion and will be subject to an independent external evaluation. This will inform any new development activity but it is envisaged that subsequent network activity will engage more partners and will involve a group of companies with restricted membership who have agreed to co-operate to achive specfic business objectives that are likely to result in enhanced competitive advantge and/or mutual financial gain. |
