Policy Research & Development

InterTradeIreland's economic and policy research identifies appropriate co-operative actions that lead to mutual benefit and further develops our understanding of the dynamics and potential impacts of closer North/South economic co-operation. Our policy research informs our programme offerings and influences how we interact with companies, supporting their capacity to compete. It also identifies areas where joint Government intervention can help to create an environment where it is easier to do business and increase the competitiveness of individual businesses and the island in the global economy. These include: Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) Infrastructure Labour Market and Skills (Skills) Enterprise and Business Development Trade and Investment Regulation Research Networks And Partnerships
