The nature of competition is changing, and firms are under constant pressure to find ways to gain competitive advantage. InterTradeIreland’s range of Business Capability tools address this need. We listen to the business networks and firms with whom we work and are producing specific, practical and accessible resources and facilities. These Business Capability Tools include:-

• The Irish Best Practice Forum – provides benchmarking data and opportunities for companies to engage in best practice visits and collaborative projects, supported by acknowledged leaders in the field.
• Go-Tender – two-day workshops for small numbers of firms to develop structured and professional skills in tendering for public sector contracts.
• EquityNetwork – a programme promoting the use of private equity to fund company growth, including awareness briefings, one-to-one meetings with advisers, access to non-executive directors, an annual seedcorn competition and an island-wide business angel network.
• Supply Chain –InterTradeIreland offers participation in a number of supply chain projects, such as the All Island Supply Chain Champions’ Programme, to assist firms to exploit the opportunities provided through enhanced supply chain management.
• Get2Business is a unique all-island guide to business support services to help organisations find the information they need , from financial assistance to training and mentoring opportunites. Get2Business, which is divided into 7 distinct sections including Business planning, Networking, Training and Mentoring, Finacne, Incubation, General Information and Specific Assistance, is a comprehensive database of enterprise and supoort organisations with direct links to providers on the island.
• Logistics XP is an innovative programme from InterTradeIreland that delivers a new approach to distribution locally and throughout Europe spanning all industry sectors. The programme will demonstrate where opportunities exist for collaboration between participating companies across the island of Ireland, that will reduce distribution and supply chain costs and improve both customer service and 'competitive advantage' for the project partners.
