The North West Science and Technology Partnership is a network formed in 2005 between industry, academia and other key stakeholders to strategically promote, support and strengthen science and technology based innovation and business in the North West region - North and South.
Objectives
- Infrastructure - to identify relevant infrastructural projects for the region and to support the development of new science & technology-based business in conjunction with existing stakeholders like the Irish Development Agency, Invest Northern Ireland and Enterprise Ireland.
- Projects - to facilitate networking opportunities and knowledge sharing to increase collaborative research and development opportunities and to identify and highlight funding and partnering opportunities for partnership members.
- Education - to develop a public profile, providing informed opinion on science & technology issues for the region, and to work to support S&T training & education.
