MicroTrade hosted fourteen businesses in a trade delegation from the Republic of Ireland to Belfast on Wednesday of this week. The primary focus of the participating businesses was to identify new market opportunities and forge new business relationships across the island of Ireland. Two local companies were among the winners in the All-Island Seedcorn Business Competition 2007, which offered a record prize fund of £187,000, at last Thursday nights finals in Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin.
