Air services between Dublin and Belfast reinstated as inaugural flight leaves Dublin Wednesday, 18 June 2003: The first direct commercial flight between Dublin and Belfast (as above) since 1995, took off today from Dublin. Aer Arann, Ireland’s premier regional airline is to provide two daily flights between the cities and estimates it will carry over 40,000 passengers on the route over the next 12 months....

M-Way toll aids road link

Motorists travelling from Belfast to Dublin can now bypass Drogheda and reduce travel time by up to 25-30 minutes.. A new toll road, 21.5km in length from Gormanston to Monasterboice cost some 246m euros. The toll is euro 1.50 for a car and 80c for a motorcycle. Buses, coaches and light commercial vans will be charged euro 2....
