Seedcorn Competition - Final Judging and Awards Ceremony

Details : InterTradeIreland has announced the regional finalists of the €230K All-island Seedcorn Competition due to be held this Wednesday. The competition, organised by the EquityNetwork initiative, aims to identify the best business plans on the island and advise start-ups on how to secure venture capital investment.

In total seven regional finals were held across the island. The competition received 440 expressions of interest and 115 detailed business plans. These were whittled down to 23 regional finalists.

The finalists are drawn from sectors as diverse as bio-tech, renewable energy and digital animation. Winners of the regional finals have each won €20K and the chance to go forward for the €100K top prize in December.
