Details : BioMedIreland* and the Institute of Physics in Ireland invite you to attend a one-day workshop to explore cutting edge areas of research in Ireland and their possible applications to the medical physics industry. This event will bring together academics and those working in the medical device industry as some of the most innovative research in Ireland is profiled.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 13th, in the Prince of Wales hotel, Athlone.

This workshop is for you, if you are:
* Working in R&D, engineering or manufacturing
* Responsible for the management of R&D, innovation and product development
* Interested in cutting edge approaches to research and possible applications
* In an academic environment involved in this arena

The workshop features 5 highly respected speakers, who will talk on a wide-range of extremely interesting topics. Each talk will be approx 25 minutes in length to allow 15 minutes of discussion and debate on each topic.
