FOSS Means Business

Details : The FOSS Means Business conference will take place in Belfast on Thursday the 16th March 2006. This all-island event will focus on the adoption and use of Free Software/Open Source Software (FOSS), with particular emphasis on the economic and competitive issues for both the public and private sector.
Richard Stallman and Bruce Perens, the two biggest names in Free Software and Open Source Software will keynote with business-orientated talks. The event will also feature speakers from Google, the Open Source Academy and Oracle.
A large audience from across the UK and Ireland is expected to attend, with a high concentration of business decision-makers. It presents a unique opportunity to network and to discover more about a rapidly-growing sector of the IT industry.
