Over 250 regulatory experts are expected to converge on Galway on Monday
and Tuesday 22 and 23 May to discuss recent developments, trends and
case
studies relevant to the development and manufacture of medical
technology
products around the world. The two day event will feature sector
regulators at the highest levels within the FDA and the EU as well as
internationally renowned subject experts. Dr. Daniel Schultz, Director,
CDRH Center for Devicesand Radiological Health (CDRH) FDA and Madam
Georgette Lalis will provide the keynote addresses providing overviews
on
US and EU regulatory issues.

The 'Global Access 220506' event being organized by the Irish Medical
Devices Association (IMDA The Irish Medical Devices Association (IMDA)
is
the business association within IBEC for the Medical Devices and
Diagnostics sector. Currently, IMDA has 80 members, located throughout
Ireland
