EGSA - Media Literacy Action Planning Event

Details : Earlier this year Ofcom published its Media Literacy Audit. This landmark publication gives us an insight into media literacy throughout the UK. For the first time we can demonstrate a clear need for action to ensure everyone reaps the benefits available through new communications technologies. The economic and social consequences for Northern Ireland make it imperative we act now. No one agency can deliver a fully media literate population. We all have to work together.

This action planning event is organised by EGSA in partnership with Ofcom. This is not just another discussion of the issues, but rather will be a working session where decision makers will emerge with a clear agenda for action.
