Go-2-Tender Advanced Workshop Dundalk

Details : Go-2-Tender aims to instil SMEs with the confidence, knowledge and skills to encourage companies to go for public sector contracts, with the reassurance that you can avail of mentoring support.
It also attempts to bring companies together, where possible, in joint ventures where scale is required as in, for example, construction.
Go-2-Tender is supported by the two Departments of Finance, Enterprise Ireland and Invest Northern Ireland.
How does it work?
Go-2-Tender comprises of workshops lasting two days, one day for advanced workshop, which contain the following elements:
- An in-depth explanation of the tendering process
- An overview of the document to be completed
- How to refine a proposal
- Fulfilling tender obligations
- Speakers/case studies from public procurement professionals and practitioners
- Opportunities to use live tenders
- Legal issues FOI, Competitive Dialogue etc
You will be helped through process of putting together a response to the tender. You will also receive personal coaching in the skills relating to client contact and critiquing of past, present and future replies to tenders.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Go-2-Tender you need to demonstrate a strong commitment to developing cross-border business, dedicated resources to identify and exploit markets in the other part of the island, identifiable cross-border opportunity and the capacity to service new business.
