InterTradeIreland All-Island Seedcorn Competition Final Awards Ceremony @ Croke Park Conference Centre, Dublin

The InterTradeIreland All-Island Seedcorn Competition Final Awards Ceremony will take place on 29th November 2007 in the Croke Park Conference Centre in Dublin.
The evening will begin with a Networking Reception at 7pm, at which the inaugural Seedcorn Alumni Association will be launched, followed by dinner and the awards ceremony at 8pm.
The InterTradeIreland All-Island Seedcorn Competition is designed to stimulate new start-up activity, improve the quality of proposals, accelerate their development and help create more opportunities for private equity investment.
The competition is divided into four regions with 2 categories in each The Emerging International Company Category and the Emerging Company category.
The four regions are as follows:
Dublin (city and county)
Northern Ireland
Munster
Connacht plus counties Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal and Leinster (excluding Dublin)
The All-Island winners will receive a prize payable by instalments based on achieving key performance indicators outlined in the business plan of 100,000 (for the winner of the Emerging International Company category) and 50,000 (for the winner of the Emerging Company category) to finance the early stages of the venture.
Six regional winners will each receive 20,000 to finance the early stages of their ventures. There is also an award of 10,000 for ventures stemming from university spinouts and platform programmes.
