Louth company Suretank Ltd secures €900,000 contract in Brazil

Suretank Ltd, of Dunleer, Co Louth, has recently announced that it has won a contract valued at €900,000 to supply its CCUs (Cargo Carrying Units) to IWES, a leading international supplier of tanks and containers to the oil and gas exploration industry.

Suretank image The announcement was made during last week’s Enterprise Ireland trade mission to Brazil, aimed at helping Irish companies win new business and increase export sales in this vast market.

Suretank is the world’s leading manufacturer of CCUs for the offshore oil industry.  IWES is the leading supplier of this equipment in Latin America, Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean.  This new contract will see Suretank units delivered to IWES in Brazil where they will be used offshore in a statoil drilling contract.

This is a highly significant contract for Suretank, building on its strong existing sales base in the region, and further positioning the Suretank brand in Latin America.  Founded in 1995, Suretank has grown its business world wide and its customer base includes the world’s major oil exploration and transportation companies.
