Halo Investment Pitch Event

Halo, the NI Business Angel Network, which is a joint initiative of Invest NI and InterTradeIreland is looking for companies to pitch at their next Halo investor evening on 9th February 2012. If you feel that business angel investing is right for your company and you are selected to pitch, Halo will significantly help you through the process which is both supportive and much friendlier than say, for example, Dragon’s Den!
| Content: | Halo is a network of over 100 business angels who since 2009 have invested £3m in high growth start-up businesses (not exclusively, but typically those which can return 10 times or more on investment in an average 5 year time frame e.g. turning a £100k investment into £1million in 5 years). Business angel investing is usually in the area of £50k - £500k and Halo, best described as ‘Dragons Den for Northern Ireland’, is a Business Angel Network which facilitates investment in NI-based companies. In fact the network has achieved such success that it was awarded ‘Business Angel Network of the Year’ in July 2010 by the BBAA, which is the main industry association consisting of 22 other Angel Networks in the UK.
